
David J. Brennan, MSW, RSW, PhD, Professor and Associate Dean, Research serves as an OHTN HIV Endgame Leadership Chair in Gay and Bisexual Men’s Health (Social Work) and the founding director of the CRUISElab, an interdisciplinary social work research lab that is centred on community-based research that investigates issues related to HIV/STBBIs, as well as broader issues of the health and well-being among gay, bisexual, two-spirit and other men who have sex with men (GB2M). His work focuses on online apps and tools for socio-sexual connections, health education, and service access among GB2M. Professor Brennan serves as the lead for the Investigaytors Toronto team, a community-based research training program for young GB2M. Professor Brennan’s work is focused on community-based research methods that include quantitative, qualitative and mixed methods designs.
