CAHR’s annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS is the main venue for HIV researchers in this country to present the results of their work and engage in vibrant knowledge exchange activities with their peers as well as with investigators in other disciplines and with the HIV/AIDS community.

CAHR 2012

The 21st Annual Canadian Conference on HIV Research will be held in Montreal from April 19th to the 22nd, 2012 at the Fairmont Queen Elizabeth. The QE is one of Canada’s grand old hotels and is located in the heart of North America’s biggest European-style city. CAHR 2011

The 20th Annual Canadian Conference on HIV/AIDS Research – CAHR 2011 was held April 14-17, 2011 at The Westin Harbour Castle in Toronto, Ontario.

The theme of CAHR 2011 was “Honouring our history, embracing our diversity” it was chosen to recognize that it is CAHR’s 20th annual conference. CAHR 2011 honoured all that has been done by Canadian researchers, health care providers, community members and especially people living with HIV who have dedicated much time and effort to develop more effective HIV prevention, treatment, care and support. CAHR 2011 is being held in Toronto, one of the most culturally diverse cities in the world, and will highlight the strengths that our diverse communities bring to the fight against HIV/AIDS, and the ways in which increasing inclusiveness can support the care of vulnerable groups.

CAHR 2010

At the 19th Annual CAHR Conference, members and friends of the HIV research community gathered in Saskatoon to exchange knowledge and celebrate a successful year in HIV research.  The consensus among the delegates was that the Conference was an outstanding success.   And as the attached photos, webcasts and abstracts show, the attendees enjoyed a very memorable event.
