New HIV Researcher Workshop
2010-01-25CAHR’s New HIV Researcher Workshop will be held again this year on the Thursday before the start of the Conference. This has proven to be a popular training event for graduate students and fellows who are planning a career in academic research. This year, the program will cover such topics as:
- CIHR 101
- Getting Funding for your Research
- Mock Grant Reviews
- Media Training
- Mentorship / Career Development
It is made possible by grants from CIHR, Merck-Frosst and the University of Manitoba’s International Infectious Diseases Program.
The good news this year is that new researchers who are registering for this workshop or have taken it in the past are eligible for a reduced registration to the CAHR Conference. Please check off the New Researcher workshop box when registering for the Conference.
