CAHR launches new website

2009-07-02

CAHR is extremely pleased to present its new website. Launched on July 01, 2009, this site is dedicated to serving the information needs of Canada’s HIV researchers, research trainees, HIV community leaders and the general public.  This new site, www.cahr-acrv.ca features up-to-date news about the Association’s programs and activities as well as detailed information about the annual CAHR Conference, an interactive poll, online access to CAHR’s publications, an online inventory of Canadian HIV research, and more.

We are particularly excited to provide a number of features highlighting CAHR’s highly successful 2009 Conference, including webcasts of all the plenary talks, an interactive database of the conference abstracts, a detailed list of CAHR’s 2009 award recipients plus a photo gallery highlighting memorable moments at the Conference.

We hope you will enjoy these features.  We invite all CAHR members and friends to enjoy these new features, come back frequently and contribute to the site’s ongoing relevance by providing your feedback.  Please note that you are invited to participate in the small poll on the Home page and/or to post your ideas and suggestions in the commentary box at the end of this article.

Finally, we wish to offer a special ‘thank you’ to CAHR’s website planning team: Jesse Raffa, Rika Moorhouse, Curtis Cooper, Brian Conway, Bob O’Neill and David Belanger of Signals Design Group (Signals is an award-winning Vancouver design firm.  It took care of all the creative aspects of the site’s new design.)
